Hope all you up in the Northeast are stocked up and ready for the storm that's coming in. My brother and family are in Arlington (MA) and waiting for it to hit.

Hope you all stay warm and safe!

Thanks for the good wishes. Things were a bit nuts at the Stop&Shop today, so I reckon folks are set.

Me, I have some food and some cigars, and should be fine if the power stays on. It has been a while since we got 2 feet of snow in one whack, but we do know how to deal with this $#!+. I will keep y'all updated.

We should be fine - it's just snow....in the middle of January. The coast is going to get hit pretty good. We'll all survive. The media makes more of it than it should.

Then again, it could get bad.
Stay safe everyone!

Seems to have missed us here in Cleveland. We had an advisory till 4:00 am.
It was pretty wet and we got a dusting that froze nasty, but nothing the salt trucks won't have all cleared up by lunchtime.

My Sgt. told me not to kill myself getting to work, so he's not really expecting me. I've got plenty of stogies and pipe tobacco to wait it out. I'm in North Weymouth, a half mile from the beach. Fortunately, I'm on high ground.

Keep it between the ditches, or better yet, in the garage.

Stay safe.

It has been snowing since the top of the page, but so far there's only 3-4 inches accumulation. They say it hits the fan in the next few hours, with the potential of 3-4 inches per hour until Tuesday morning.

Really?
Well shake off that corn starch and dry your mucklucks by the cellophane.
You can wait here in the sitting room, or sit here in the waiting room.:D

Far out, Catherwood. Just roll a couple of bombers and leave them on the side table.

Why don't you pick up your cues faster?

We got lucky in Philly. They were calling for 6 to 10 inches and we got maybe 3 at the most.

But what about my pickle?

There's still some light snow falling, but the 2 feet they called for yesterday looks like 6 inches to me.

Upstate NY got a dusting overnight, but it just started to snow some more. We were supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow. My wife's family in the Boston area got slammed.

I live in your neck of the woods. My Sons got up this morning with visions of No School and Sleigh riding. I almost shed a tear getting them on the bus...:D

We just might have cracked through 1" here. Still, the schools made the call to cancel yesterday at 5pm :(
