Whats your preference?

Personally, I v-cut all box pressed sticks, and straight cut everything else. Just something about how it feels to v-cut a box pressed

Started out using my husband's guillotine but I bought a V-Cutter and I love it. In my opinion it opens up the draw on the cigar more.

For me, it varies on the cigar size and strength.

I have all 3, I go to one of my Palios most of the time, I break out the Xikar V cut when I'm in the mood for a change and the punch I keep in the Jeep with a cheap torch as a backup if I'm out and about and don't have anything else.

I'll use a guillotine and V both. Depends on vitola.

I have never used a V-cutter, though I do want one...
I almost never use a punch. I stick with my Xikar guillotine and the Xikar scissors.

Started out with a guillotine, bought a punch to try after a while, then eventually got a Xikar V cutter; Now I use that almost exclusively except for small ring size sticks.

There's something about the draw and the smoke I just like. The whole experience is just better for me with the V cutter.

Have a nice Xikar guillotine and 9mm punch. Prefer the punch to keep tha cap intact. Never have issues with cap or wrapper coming apart due to a cut. :tu

For me, it varies on the cigar size and strength. . . who said that?
However, the Punch seems to be the most popular for me.
While I (personally) don't care for a V cut, XiKar has a great tool and Colibri also came out with a good one.
FWIW:
I designed a 4-blade Punch Cutter. Looking for a manufacturer now. It's really tiny! Like the size of a AA battery with a twisty cap thing. Probably need to find a watch maker to build the prototype. But, if it works, it will be the best punch cutter yet. Sizes? Ok: 6-mm, 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm diameter holes. What's your hole size? :)

I have only used the guillotine and punch. But of the two I prefer the punch.

I have all three now. Just picked up a V-cutter (4$ one mind you) but think I will invest in a nice one. Really like the cut it makes and the draw.

Currently I am 90% guillotine and 10% punch.

Most of the time I just use my teeth to open up a hole in the cap and use a guillotine once in awhile.

I just use a regular guillotine cutter. no fuss no muss. The perfect cutter from cuban crafter is great...I also use cheap ones off of eBay. They work great also.

I like a cutter that doesn't hurt me and allows me to smoke the cigar.
A Xikar, knife, teeth, whatever gets it done.
I hate those cutters that pinch the web of my thumb. Grrr.

I just recently got a V cut. I have used it exclusively since I got it (middle of last week). I use all three though. it really depends on my mood and the RG of the cigar I am smoking. I also like options as well.

50/50 between v-cut and straight cut.

Ditched my punch in favour of the v-cut...

I use the guillotine mostly but will use a V cutter also. Haven't used too many punch cutters.

I am pretty lazy and just Palio guillotine straight unless I'm at a shop and then the V or cat eye is a fun change up.

This pretty much how I operate these days. Never though much of the V Cut but then I ended up with one and I really like it on box pressed cigars.

I have a couple punches but don't use them often.

I use the guillotine more times then not but to change it up I will punch just for fun.

I like a V cut but will use a straight cut on sticks with a hard draw.

Much like an engine, you need the proper air/gas (smoke in our case) ratio to get the most out of it. By not using a a full cut, I find the that air/smoke ratio is way off and I never get the full flavor if I punch or do any other cut that restricts air flow. Since a guillotine cut gives you more surface area for air to flow freely, so does the flavor.
