After five good years at Baileys, they have joined the club and are now a NON-SMOKING establishment. Corporation announced this yesterday, and store general managers have until 01 Jan 15 to make ot happen in their stores. Of course, our local Bailey's pulled the plug starting 24 Nov 15. Looks like we're gonna have to find another place to hold our weekly VCM Thursday Herfs. :td :td :td :td :td

That does suck. I liked going to that one down there for a smoke. I liked going to the one up here too, but they closed that sucker down months ago.

We used to have some epic herfs at the Baileys in Canton, MI until the state passed a smoking ban.

The Richmond locations are going smoke free next week- so they're out for combo herfs. Any other suggestions for a meet up for the NoVa and SoVa gang?

Is that just in VA or is that across their entire franchise?

The Baileys in Knoxville went smoke free a while back. I haven't been since but I dare say it really took a chunk out of their business considering everyone in there was always smoking.

The entire franchise will be smoke free by 01 Jan 15.

That's no good. I'm going to be in Newport News Dec 14th -18th for work and found that was the closest place to head for a smoke. Any other places down there you would suggest Mac? I'll be staying at City Center and would need to cab it to anything too far.

Seth...we are looking into a few places close by. Kelly's Tavern (small pub) that may allow cigar smokers and the only other option is the local American Legion (win win for the price of drinks). Will let you know this week, as we've got to figure something out for this weeks VCM Thursday Herf.
