It's been a loooong time... can they do it tonight? Can they do it at all?
I think Hamels will be a stud tonight and they'll close it out.

The Rays' pitching is scary good (and young). And Upton is HOT (not in a Farrah Faucet way)

No, they will not choke. And at the time I am writing this they are currently crushing the Dodgers 5-1 in the top of the 7th. The Rays will be a good matchup but the Fightins are playing extremely well right now.
let's go Phillies!!!

Congrats to the Phillies.
Oh and the C word is not something attributed to the Fighting these days. It's reserved to the third highest payroll in all of MLB. :D
We match well with BoSox but Rays will be fun to watch.

Go Phils. I remember watching them as a kid when Lenny D. and John K. were playing. Good times and great memories. :tu

Ain't that the truth! I saw a great sign at one of the games. It said "Universal sign for choke" and had the NYM logo. :r

I have been thiniking about the team a lot lately. Dykstra, Daulton, the Krukster, Mitch "The Wild Thing" Williams, Mickey Morindini, Pete Eisenreich. Was Incavilgia on that team? Good memories there.
I remember standing down by first base rail before a game with my unlce trying to get Eisenreich's autograph. He was all the way down by the box and my uncle shouted "Hey Pete - it's my kid's birthday!" and he came all the way back.
Ahh, back before baseball was ruined by cheaters.

You're lucky he came back...I'm surprised "Jim" responded to Pete :r
I can name every starter (including platoons) and starting pitcher from that team. Good times :tu

I'm with you on this. I think the Ray's look tough.
Either way It will be nice to see a Non Yankees, Non Red sox champion. I think those two teams need to go sit on the bench for a couple of decades... ROFL.
One of these days the Rockies will do something crazy like back to back winning seasons... last year was such a tease lol.

How exactly is going 4-1 in the NCLS "managing not to choke"?
I'd call that a damn fine showing.
