It's getting nasty. I hope everyone gets through this storm system safely. Looks like Arkansas already got hit hard. We had some tornados in south Georgia tonight and the major weather is not even here yet.

Just getting to my area, NE of Bham, but just T-storms and lightning, now..... Keeping an eye on local weather broadcast. Looks like the tornadoes are going to pass north of us. But the night is young, and another round is expected tomorrow afternoon.

The worst is supposed to go north of us here. It's supposed to start getting nasty around 0200, though.

As a kid, I used to like stormy weather. Now, as a home owner, I dread it!

Heavy damage in Tupelo this afternoon (my mother's family all live in the Tupelo/New Albany area). Texted First Cuz that works for Army Corp of Engineers in Tupelo. All family/kin safe and undamaged, and tornado missed his work office by one block.

Stay safe on the coast, doesn't look like you will have much concerns that far south.

Hope everyone here is safe and okay. Kansas City area seemed to get the least of it. More storms coming. Praying for the families affected.

TOR:CON is a 7 in southern alabama and the Florida panhandle. Very dangerous storms abound in the southeast through tomorrow.

Stay safe!
