So far, so good for my boys at Hopkins. 3-0, with a particularly impressive opening win against Ohio State. Showed a lot of poise in that one managing to win it in triple OT. I'm loving the new(really, its the pre-Kyle Harrison days) offense. Wells Stanwick has been playing out his mind and should be one of the front runners for the Tewaaraton, with 1 goal and 5 assists in each of the first two games.
Looks to be a big bounce back year for UVA, though they're gonna have to show they can take control of a game and maintain that control. 3 wins by a combined 3 goals, two in OT, and both OT wins should have been over much earlier. Loyola really impressed me with that opening loss to UVA, coming back from a 12-4 deficit in the third to force OT. Drexel is my dark horse pick to make a run come tournament time. They always play tough and played very well against UVA despite the loss, and are looking very good defensively against Albany right now. Duke's finally found a way to win some games in February, which my distaste for the Dookies makes me hope that means they won't be able to make their usual late season run. :r 'Cuse came out strong against Albany last week, but is looking flat to say the least against UMd in one of those games I have to root for the lesser evil(Go Cuse! Now let me go wash my mouth out with bleach :r )
