I've started this thread so we can share some of our favorite music videos and/or songs that were not produced in a video, with each other. Please, do not list your current favorites, etc. Please, only list songs and videos that you have loved all of your life, from when you first heard them, and remain among your all time favorites.

To get us started, I'll list two that have haunted me, all of my life, from the first time I heard them. For whatever reason, they truly touch my heart every time I hear them. They have a very deep meaning to me, yet I've never fully understood why. The first is by Billy Joel "The River of Dreams", this song has haunted me for over 25 years. The second is by Abba "I have a Dream", it has haunted me for well over 35 years! I'll be back with more from time to time.

Honestly have never seen any videos for either, and I am fairly happy with that. These songs always make me think of specific people and times, so I prefer that I have not seen a video.

It just popped into my head that there will likely be a "new" video for At Last since it will be in that new movie coming out (Cadillac Records). From the little that I have heard, it sounds like Beyonce may have actually done a really good job of the cover.

A classic -- the audio is better in the Forest Gump soundtrack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZa6AA9Xfpw&feature=related), but there are a couple live versions that are a kick:

Well, I didn't see any half naked women, or rolling waves???

Also, this would seem like a currant favorite, rather than a long time attachment, but maybe that's what it is for you! I'm confused!

I was searching for a video of a song that I have always found to be hauntingly beautiful/sad -- Acuarela do Brazil --more popularly known as "Brazil", and I stumbled across another haunting tune (one that I only encountered on a Starbucks compilation that included the version of "Amado Mio" by Pink Martini. This video shows a much older history ...

Oh ... I also stumbled across a version of Acuarela do Brazil by the original composer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00Sh2AyEKzs An amazing guitarist!! :2

Here is a much more recent video, featuring two of my favorite entertainers. The words are very important and meaningful, at least to me!

I apologize for the advertisement that sometimes pops up before the vedio. I could not wipe it away!
