Um. You don't have to be naive, but your brain does have to be in at least neutral. Not even my 80y.o. mother would fall for those.

The caller ID one is easy to defeat if you're savvy enough. If the police or any other agency like that (IRS for example) wants to talk to you, they'll send a letter in the mail, or visit you in person.
