Ok...we've had the top 10 favorites, but let's think this one out hard. Offer up your absolute, número uno, can't live without, willing to trade your kids/ grandkids for, favorite stick. To make this something that most of us can have a chance at getting our mitts on some of these, try to keep a ceiling of $15 greenbacks on it. If it's that special, go ahead and let the sky be the limit.

If I have any of the sticks you want, I would take 1 kid, or 2 grandkids, for a 5'er.

One? If I have to nail down ONLY ONE...let's think which maduro has it all, makes me cocoa for Cocoa Puffs...

Don Pepin Garcia JJ Series Maduro Belicoso

It has everything I love in a stick, full bodied, spice, a touch of sweetness, and plenty of cocoa. :dr :dr :dr :dr :dr

Mac and I are brothers separated at birth. This is also numero uno for me. Doesn't get any better.

Call me crazy, but a Cubao Maduro. I don't even think they still make 'em, but they're not too hard to find. They're just smooth and spicy and chocolatey all at the same time, and they never fail me. Best part is I recently scored a bunch more at Famous' Cigar Monster for $33.00 per 10 pack.

I'm actually shocked it wasn't the 601 Blues. You've got cabinets dedicated to those bad boys.

For me, either HdM Epi2s(CC) or Tat Black Culebras(NC). Either I could smoke all day, every day for the rest of my life. I'm actually surprised with where I went with this when I thought about it. Normally my habits would err on the stronger side and I'm surprised I didn't go Padron either.

Aaaaaand, I apparently suffer from severly short term memory loss. :r

Since this was supposed to be a Maddie/Oscuro, I'd say LP No. 9 Belis.

Excellent stick Tim. Made by the folks that make my beloved 601 Blue...go figure. :D

Another excellent stick Bart!! The Matador is the cream of the line. :tu

Almost Bear...but the DPG gets the nod. The original release 601 Blues are an extremely close second. :dr

I hear that Robert! Once you tear into a well aged box of those, it's impossible to pace yourself.

That's for sure...I miss those suckers real badly. ROTT ones are good, but the age makes them even better and amazingly smooth without losing the flavor.

Easiest "what's your favorite?" ever.
DPG JJ Maduros and LG Oscuro Orientals.
If a cigar-eating meteor hit today, and all that was left were those cigars, I'd be okay with it.

Well-said, Tim. You are totally crazy.
Cubao Maduro is one of the alltime sleeper cigars -- so smooth and spicy, like smoking milk chocolate. Eddie Ortega Cigars still makes them.

http://www.ortegacigars.com/collections/ortega-cubao

Wish they had thicker ring gauges like in previous vitolas when made by Espinosa & Ortega. My fave now is the Belicoso #2 -- 6x52.
Have stockpiled a previous vitola the 4.75x50 rothchild, still available from Famous:

Do not know which you are talking about.

First, would never trade my kids/grandkids for any cigar. I'd give up smoking before that would happen.

Absolute favorite cigar, isn't a maduro.

One (maduro) everybody could get their hands on? El Rey del Mundo Robusto.

One where sky is the limit? Padron 80th Anniversary Maduro.

And even at that, I think there are days I'd prefer the ERdM Robusto over the Padron.

Another noob but must tell ya' ;

I love Padron 1926 maduros,

Comacho triples,

But both are much more expensive than, and ( to my personal taste ) can't equal any La Gloria Cubana Serie R.

A Serie R paired with an excellent rum gives me the sense . . . Er, uhh,
Tastes every bit (forgive me if i am out of bounds for the forum. Say the word and i will learn), tastes every bit like and as good as a beautiful exotic woman.

With the word EXOTIC underlined but less strings attached ;)
