So tomorrow after I get off work I'm gonna go smoke with a buddy, any ideas on what cigar I should pick up to smoke? I am up for any ideas or suggestions.

Thanks a lot

It depends on your own personal likes -
what are some cigars you really enjoy?
Wrapper, strength, flavors?

depends... if your talking tasty lately I have been digging on some Camacho x3 Maduro's...

If $krill is of no issue perhaps go with a CC or an Anejo :tu

Where is he gonna "pick up" a CC tomorrow?

I would go with a Fuente Hemingway, smooth and tasty, and won't break the bank.

Gonna second the Padron (x000 series) and Tom's suggestion of the Arturo Fuente Hemingway. Most cigar shops carry those two cigars. Really can't go wrong with fuente and padron if NC's are your cup of tea.

Did you realize that you would get as many different opinions on this as you'd get respondents? If not, you do know.

I guess my first question to you is, where you going to get the cigars?

If out of your own humidor, then you will be limited by what you have available. Not knowing what is in your humidor, my suggestion might be pointless, as I might suggest cigars you do not even have.

If you are going to get them after work, then the selection available to you at your local tobacconist/cigar seller will limit your choices.

Your likes and dislikes will also color your choices.

Given all that, I would suggest:
Arturo Fuente Hemingway, or an AF Sun Grown
Padrons are always good, depending on the amount you'd like to spend, I'd suggest an Anniversary '64 or '26 as my first choice, but if you want to watch the bank, then a 2000 or 3000 - I personally favor the maduro of all these, but naturals are good a well.
El Rey del Mundo Robusto (wrapped in tissue paper)
Curivari - either an El Gran Rey or Reserva Limitada Café

Of course, there are about 2,352 other possible excellent choices out there, but that's what I'd consider for tonight if I were raiding my own humidor. :)

Enjoy!

Peace of the Lord be with you.

Todd

In my Top 20 of regular rotation - good consistent smoke, for sure.
