This is my favorite meal. My mom came up with the recipe.
Baked Noodle Delight
Ingredients:
16 oz. box of rotini noodles
1.5 pounds of ground chuck
20 oz. can of spaghetti sauce
6 oz. can of tomato paste
1 tablespoon of garlic salt
8 oz. package of shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Boil the box of noodles according to the directions on the box and drain. Brown the ground chuck and drain off the "drippings". Add the spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, and the garlic salt (more garlic salt can be added if you like the "garlicy" taste). Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Spread the noodles on the bottom of a 9" x 13" pan, then spread the meat mixture evenly on top of the noodles. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, as much as you like, on top of the meat mixture. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown. Let the pan sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
