Never tried one (actually I've never had a Ghurka of any kind), but will "try" this one. "Ratings" (to me) are just a recommendation - I don't care who makes it, as long as it is hencho de mano, made from quality ingredients, and that care has been taken to ensure it smokes well. If the company has bad business practices, or tells "tales" about how their products are produced, I steer clear of them, otherwise - I'll have a go.....

Everyone's palate is different (at least to some degree) and all palates (taste buds) are ever changing.........

Curious.....What was your impression of this cigar?

Didn't make it through 2 inches and tossed it, plus the big ring gauge didn't care for at all. Maybe it's a preconceived notion that all ghurka taste like **** to me, but they do.

So, to me, that begs the question: which is better…Ghurka or Victor Sinclair?

I should've known you'd be the first to spy a ghurka thread.
Someone send me one unbanded and I'll smoke it. Just so long as I don't know what it is :r

It must have been shipped to them with $100 bills used for the packing material.
