Ok - if you suddenly couldn't have your maddie or Oscuro sticks, what cigars would you dark meat lovers go to? I suspect a bevy of dark naturals may show up!

I would probably have to go with Bolivar CC's.
Maybe a regular AB Tempus, seeing as how much I like the maduro blend, and also the Padron 64 naturals are pretty good as well.

x2, what are these non-maduro cigars you speak of?
... more seriously, I would probably go to a Cain Daytona, or maybe an AB tempus or presnado, the natural Oliva V's etc...but I would have withdrawals...

No more Maduros would pretty much mean the end of civilization for me, but I also enjoy corojo and habano wrappers. I think the El Centurion has a sun grown wrapper and I really like that one.

I've enjoyed 90% of the cigars I've smoked. I've recently been drawn to the 'darkside' and wasn't enjoying my NC's as much. Then I bought a box of Short Story Maduros from Scott (Shilala)....and they are so damn good, I believe I'm turning into a maduro whore!!

If you mention those words again, I'll find you and beat you down. Maduros are the only smokes worth having. Can I get an amen!!!

I'd go after some corojos. I've found corojos in the past that were spicier and sweeter than some of the maduros I've had.
Ya know, there's maduros and oscuros, then there's GOOD maduros and oscuros.
For me it boils down to how they taste. I like a GOOD maduro or a spectacular maduro.
Sometimes a nice, mild maduro or oscuro wrapper compliments the filler and binder better than something stronger. Such as in Litto Gomez stuff.
Litto's wrappers on his LG line are pretty mild, but the blends are phenomenal.

I hate to be the oddball here, yet to offer a serious reply to this query, I will confess I enjoy cigars with an EMS or a Cameroon wrapper. I might even smoke more of them, were it not for the fact that I've found these wrappers to be especially delicate and subject to damage, unlike the decidedly more durable maduros.
