The color/contrast is not set in stone, both sides of the chips with "Crazy Inmate of the Asylum" printed on the outer edge of the chip. I thought these would be fun to have on hand for bombs and what not, you could probably order as many as you want and play poker with them.

If these get ToE approval I will contact the company and see what the cost would be if anyone wants in on them :tu

Nice drawings, Mike!

I'm a bit unsure how they would look on a round item like a poker chip, but the concept looks great! :banger

Can you get them in multicolored borders like other chips - so that we could order them to play poker with? Just asking.

Ya, they will be put on ceramic chips that can have multi colored borders.

These are "rough" cuts but they will give you an idea as to what both sides will look like.

There are no "orders" until it is submitted to the admins for approval to use the Cigar Asylum name.

Michael, the sign hanging below the "Cigar Asylum" sign, what would it look like in Comic Sans? Just curious...

Remo would have to make that change -- it would be extremely difficult for me to overlay the graphic with a textbox :)

Those look great! Not a poker player myself, but was wondering if you could get them with a little weight so that they can be used as a ball maker for golfing?

Assume these will have enough weight to be perfect for a ball marker. My favorite current market, a poker chip marker from Kauai Lagoons.

Ok, I have the design off to the company for a mock up, when they send it back I will post it here, looking at a 43 or 46mm ceramic chip, 12-14 grams in weight. Should be nice.

They are getting mocked up but this is the basic idea but picture my artwork, no outer border so the art will take up the whole 43mm chip.

Rolling edge will have Crazy Inmate of the Asylum

Very cool Mike -- how much do you think will cost?

If we get the go ahead from upper management (ToE) about a $1.50 a chip, have to do a 300 minimum order.

Assimung the ToE approves, I don't think you will have a problem hitting the 300 minimum :)

Just an FYI to all involved here.

I realize a lot of effort, emotional investment, and expectations of others are apparent in these chips but it is not a forgone conclusion the use of the CA name will be approved. I not saying it won't. But I get the impression (and others have expressed similar feelings) that approval is a mere formality.

Not the intention at all Peter, sorry if it was implied, I just wanted some design input, no money, blood, sweat or tears have been lost, so if it happens or not it's all good. Just a quirky idea, if no CA involvement the design can easily be changed :tu

No worries at all, Mike.
Based on the responses and PMs I got I just wanted to clarify things.
