I'm so proud of my daughter and the many others who are participating in the Susan G Komen 3 day walk here in San Diego.

Participant raise funds for breast cancer research and walk 60 miles over 3 days. We were out there today with many others cheering on all the participants.

I got a kick out of shirts that said "I thought you said 3 miles in 60 days"

I also saw 3 men in tie-die jump suits with alien sunglasses. The back of their suits had a sign that said "save areola 51" :=:

A great day and humbling experience.

Just wanted to share.

Congrats to her team and to you as a proud father. My wife has walked it once and has worked the triage tent a few times. It is not an easy 3days for any of the participants.

Very nice :tu my mother did the avon 2-day walk in boston a couple years ago and that seemed tough enough. she laughed at all the younger ones who thought they could just show up and walk that far, then were struggling on the second day. it's not easy to do!

No. It's not easy.

Just got back dinner after the closing ceremonies.
2300 walkers raised $6.1 million.

I was deeply moved by the events of the entire weekend.

Very nice Peter! My mom is in remission from breast cancer and I've done a couple of those. Great cause and great to hear your daughter taking an interest to it! Very nice gesture.

Awesome job by your daughter and her team, Peter.

I saw a sign on the side of a taxi this past October that said "Strike out breast cancer and save second base". I thought it was pretty clever.
