Little known fact Semper fidelis was actually the motto of the Army's 11th Inf Division created by A. Lincoln 20+ years before the Marines started using it.

My buddy was stationed at MCAS El Toro years ago. He had a poster in his office that still makes me laugh.

It had three pictures. The first one was an Army Ranger coming out of the jungle, and the caption was "Man, this sucks". The second one was a Navy SEAL coming out of the ocean and the caption was "Man, this really sucks".

The last one was a Marine Force Recon coming out of a swap (covered in mud and blood) and the captions was "Man, I wished this sucked a little more".
