When I was 17 I moved from Florida to Boston, during winter. My first day there I woke up early and went out onto the porch and I can still remember the way the cold wind blew right through me and made my knees ache.... 18 yrs later I finally got the hell out of there. lol

I'm feeling ya Mike... It's mid to upper 60's here today. I'm getting a bit thin blooded in my old age I guess, cause it feels colder! Of course with Holly going thru what she is, she feels warm most of the time so the thermostat stays low to help her.

It's fun picking out the tourists from the locals when I'm down in south FL in winter. It gets to maybe 55 for a couple of days and the locals are bundled up like eskimos, and us tourists are out in shorts and t-shirts, our blindingly white skin a sight to behold. :r

I love winter. Too cold is something I can deal with. Hell, if it were solely up to me, I'd have my thermostat set at 50° year round.

It was in the 40's yesterday, and the kids and I went outside to play. We were out there for 2 hours, and I was very comfortable in a sweatshirt and jeans.
