God's Speed Scott Carpenter, one of the Original 7, John Glenn's backup and the 2nd American to orbit the Earth. An honest to goodness hero with balls of steel, in the midst of the cold war and the space race he was one of those 7 that answered the call with bravery and honor. May you rest in peace.
