So... I have a small 20 ct desktop humi that I grabbed from Cuban Crafters when I first picked up the hobby. So I quickly determined what I wanted/liked and pretty much forgot about this desktop and haven't touched it in over a year.

Man.... Look at all that "Plume"!

There's two or three guys here will will agree with you, and argue to the death about it. ;)

I really just posted this as a good example of Mold but thought it would be funnier if I said plume...

Also these cigars have a new home in the trash...

Zane, you should not have tossed those smokes. I could've sold you a bottle of corked wine to go with 'em. :tu

That's a surefire sign of proper aging. Just like on that leftover spaghetti that I found hidden in the back bottom shelf of my fridge. Sure, it'd been five weeks since I'd made spaghetti, but the plume on it meant I'd stored it properly. On an entirely unrelated note, anyone know a good place to get your stomach pumped?

Pause and take note that the sticks with the most "plume" are not in cello, and thus have acquired plume as a result of "proper aging".

Looking good. Used to love working at B&M's when the boss man would tell us to sell those "plume-y" sticks to folks. Real tasty.

To be completely honest, as long as its just white mold and isn't on the foot, just wipe em off and they're perfectly fine.

It's what I do. I've even experimented with a very small amount of rubbing alcohol on the bodies of moldy cigars. The mold doesn't come back and it doesn't change the flavor at all. Guess we all have our own methods of dealing with "plume" :)
