With a little more than 81 games in the books, at the halfway point, who gets your vote for the leagues top honors?

My Picks

MVP
AL : Miguel Cabrera
NL : Paul Goldschmidt

Cy Young
AL: Max Scherzer
NL: Adam Wainwright

Rookie of the year
AL: Jose Iglesias
NL: Yasiel Puig

Miggy is becoming a legend, and will be hard to beat.
I would be interested to see what happens if Chris Davis challenges the HR record.
Would a "clean" chase of the record be enough to beat out Miggy?
I went with Goldschmidt because he doesn't play in Colorado, though leading the NL in RBI helps my case.

A week ago, I would've went with Buchholz, but Scherzer's 13-0 is hard to compete with.
I put Wainwright in for NL, but Ultimately I think Kershaw will win it.

My pick for AL ROY is Jose Iglesias. Why? because somebody has to win.
The talent gap between AL and NL rookies is staggering.
Yasiel Puig is one of the most exciting players I've ever seen.

Those are my picks, what are yours?

Not sure Dom.

MVP
AL : Miguel Cabrera I agree totally!!!!
NL : Paul Goldschmidt if they win otherwise has to be Molina. Alvarez if he had his avg over .250

Cy Young
AL: Max Scherzer 13-0 is impressive. Old Man Bartollo is 11-3 with better era.
NL: Adam Wainwright for now ok. could be Kershaw or Locke from Pit.

Rookie of the year
AL: Jose Iglesias by the end could be Franklin.
NL: Yasiel Puig is a lock.

Dom's spot on...the AL rookies this year are like non existent. It's crazy. I must admit the Almonte kid from the Yankees looks promising and curious to see how Myers does once he gets some ABs under his belt.
