I am not as lucky as some of you BOTL, to have an extra room or special place to smoke. So, tonight, with it being 39 degrees, with a heavy & wet fog, I realized that smoking in the back yard was NOT gonna work. I decided to clear a 10'x10' space in my cluttered garage to enjoy a fine tabacco product in a slightly warmer environment. Here are the results: (Please refrain from laughing at me too hard) :D

I plugged in a crappy little heater, and got the iPod set up. Next I found this very nice smoking table, and grabbed a ashtray. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am. Smoking heaven. :r See you too can have your very own Man Cave!! :bh

Nothing wrong with that set up Bruzee, sit back, light up, enjoy the music, stay warm and enjoy looking at that bike. What else could a guy ask for. :D

All that matters is that it works. Ascetics takes a distant second to having something functional.:tu

Cause it has ash in it? Or cause he wants it?!?!?!? :r

Nothing to be ashamed of, I tried the same thing. it was just too cold here, and with an uninsulated garage, it was impossible to keep it comfortable.

enjoy it, ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

I don't have a heater, but my mancave is similar to yours. Extra space in my garage...

Well done! That's a little roomier than my garage setup, and probably warmer too! I've got a chair between the car and the wall. Garage door has to stay open a bit to let the room aroma escape, as it will seep into the family room otherwise. Hard to keep warm that way, but it works.

if it works for you, then it works right? We don't all have the luxury to smoke inside, have an extra room, a cabin in the yard or space in the garage to have a full couch, TV & a fridge setup and like you said, it beats smoking outside in the cold.

Looks good to me! Like others said, if it keeps you warm and dry and allows you to enjoy a great smoke than how could one complain? It may not be the Havana Club but it works. Good job!

I agree, it's better than mine, I still freeze my stones off smoking out on the deck.

Looks like my winter smoking spot. Not the greatest, but it works. Sure as heck beats not smoking at all.

I've got the same cooler, but one of the rear hinges broke, so it's been "reassigned" from camping to coolerdor. Right now duct tape is serving as a hinge, but I keep saying I need to find a real hinge to replace it with.

OK, you guys talked me into it. I'm gonna rearrange a little spot in the garage for just me. I've been braving the great outdoors but the cold has really started to settle in. It won't take much to create a little "room" in the garage for me. I've got a little heater & tunes so I should be set.

:tpd:

but here is a word of advice..don't leave the lighter in front of the heater too long...it gets really really hot and you'll get the name "Ronson" branded into your hand. :c
