Unreal. You know I understand that this happens as its just bound to by laws of the product and human error but 3 times in the same box of what are pricier sticks IMO and VERY pricey considering its a Rocky Patel but this is just flat out Effin BS at almost $20 a cigar.

Never. Ever. Again. Let's see what your customer service does to rectify.

*grumble grumble grumble* *kick the dog* *defile you mother*

I actually just got off the phone with the B&M that I got them from back in November and they offered to deal with it if I just brought the box back to them which is really awesome of them. Just needed to grumble as the dog didn't exactly know what the hell was going on. ;s

All I see is the inside. He said he took it apart. I do not see the wrapper, etc.

Back in my days as an RP fan his customer service was second to none. The B&M taking it back knows Rocky will take care of it.

:tpd:

There are a LOT (and by a Lot, I mean "truckloads") of sticks I would buy with a proven track record for that kind of dough.
I guess if this stick is your favorite stick on the planet, though....
Smoke what you like, in that case.

When companies get too big middle management starts building empires and product quality and customer service crash and burn.

Remember that scene in Wall Street where Gordon G. is addressing the shareholders and pointing at all the Vice Presidents sitting in the front of the room. He said something like: "What do these guys do? Send memos to each other all day?"

Stay away from RP and the other big boys.

Oh yeah I remember that scene. Or my favorite is having meetings, to plan other meetings. Corporate meetings need to be treated like hiring a hooker. You get 1 hour with a hard stop (no pun intended) and the we're done, I have clients to attend to not hear about the third poo poo junior made in the potty.

I have a minor in Human Resources (amongst the 8 others huh) and I remember a friend trying to discourage me from majoring in it and he put it this way, "Why would you want to be in HR. You know what HR is good for? Two things: 1) Cramming my inbox with "personnel announcements" that inevitably some ass hat is going to click "reply to all" on and drown out important eMails 2) Letting me know when the company picnic is." He had me at the company picnic lol. Never took another HR class again.

No disrespect to those in HR it just was not my forte.

Stay away from RP and the other big boys. And nothing wrong with the big boys IMO but you try to be everything to everyone is when it heads south. RP is a very nice guy and genuine at heart but I dislike how many mass produced lines he puts out so frequently in the same way Viaje puts out so many very elusive sticks and the hype he puts up surrounding them. There are way way too many other companies that put out quality products that are consistent and accessible to the masses. I'm not ambulance chasing cigars.
