I was going through my collection earlier and saw this

When I tapped it on to a piece of paper, this is what came out
http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m626/Earl_McCoy/20130512_221145_zps4238393a.jpg (http://s1135.photobucket.com/user/Earl_McCoy/media/20130512_221145_zps4238393a.jpg.html)
It really sucks because it was a custom rolled cigar from Bryan from last years Studio Tobac tour. He left the "fuse" on the top of the cigar and called it a TNT or Dynamite or something like that. I checked all the other cigars in that particular humidor and they all seem fine.
Into the freezer for the rest of ur sticks!!!! Now!!

:tpd:
Bag em up and toss them in quick, just because you don't see little holes, I don't think that means everything is hunky dory.
P.S Earl, what temp is your humi?

Lots of beetle threads lately. I'm wondering if the people with the beetle issues have frozen their sticks and if so what was their freezing times?

My humis never get above 65. they are in the coolest part of the house and it is always 10-15 degrees cooler down there.
I'll probably just cut it down below there and smoke it. I'll be freezing the rest of the cigars in that humidor.

Just put all the cigars from this particular humidor in the freezer after they spent some time in the fridge. Gonna re-season the humidor while its empty.

Have you checked the freezing thread, I think there was something in there about wiping down the inside of the humidor with ____________ (because not sure what you use) and it' helps make sure no little eggs are in there.

A custom wrapped like that should have hit the cold as soon as you got home. If you know the cigars have not been frozen before they hit your humi, FREEZE them.
Cheap insurance.
When in doubt freeze them out.

Everything from that humi is in the freezer now.
I'm actually smoking the cigar pictured above. Great smoke. I just cut the top off and it's actually staying together pretty well.
