Worry not, for I shall be filling your PM box FULL of pictures. One drawer. At a time. Till your PM box pops.

It will happen.

Only YOU can prevent angry PMing. :gary

Finally arrived.

Wiped it down with rubbing alcohol and distilled water. Air dried for a few hours and now it's boxed up with several cedar boxes getting it's aromatics on.

Contemplating my lighting options.

My igloos are for boxes. ;)

Believe it or not, drawers are much more efficient for storage. With boxes you will always have dead space.

That's the exact setup I ordered. Enough for 6 compartments per drawer.

Looks good, Scotty! I've been reviewing the wineador threads a lot recently as I'm thinking of investing in one. I'm in a hot and humid area, I run two 100/ct humidors, and that's just not enough space anymore. So I'm taking notes...

Go much bigger than you think you'll need, or just get two from the start. They seem to shrink fast when cigars start going in them.

Pull the paper. Go to your B&M and grab some empty cedar boxes (non-painted) and stuff those in there. Worked great for me. And leaves your hands clean and cedar-y. :D

I run none... They are just a hastle. If you know your box seals good and don't wanna frustrate yourself watching the RH rise slowly back to norm, then there's really no need for a hygrometer.

AdamJoshua
07-24-2013, 09:59 PM
If you are newer to all this and want to use a hygrometer that's cool, I'm about 6 months in and weening myself off checking it. I would suggest a digital model, you can grab them on amazon for 15 bucks or so. I got 2
Caliber III Thermometer Hygrometer by Western Humidor, they were like 10 bucks each. One for each box, if you have a winadoor you can put one in it at the top, then when you want you can move it to the bottom, haha. Don't really need two one would do it.
