View Full Version : Your last meal?

Got to talking about this with a co-worker yesterday. He was talking about famous last meals people on death row had requested, and how some were rather quirky and some just good ol' fashioned comfort food.

So I got to thinking, What would my last meal be? Given that money and availability is no object to what you would you request as your Death row meal?

You only get a choice of one appetizer, one main course (with sides of course), and dessert. Obviously since we rock you get to pick a smoke after the meal too :D

Mine would be:
An appetizer of different types of Sashimi
Main entree of Lobster Newberg with a side of Foie Gras and another side of Linguini noodles in a Bechamel sauce.
Dessert for me would be an order of a dozen oysters on the half shell (who says dessert needs to be sweet :D)

My after dinner cigar would be a Davidoff Chateau LaTour that I would enjoy on my long walk to the execution chamber.

I would pick the deep-fried large ivory-billed woodpecker. It is nearly extinct, if not extinct. Either they would spend years looking for it, or years battling out in court whether I could eat it! And I'd settle for any Cuban Davidoff for dessert!

LOL! Jesse Jane is my favorite actress too!

My homemade deep fried buffalo wings, hot enough to make the back of my knees sweat. And a good stout beer. :dr :dr :dr

Hmmm, let me think about this one...

Alright, I think I figured it out.

-Large beer battered onion rings with spicy ranch dip (appetizer)
-A big Ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob (dinner)
-Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (desert)

Then I'd smoke an Edmundo Dantes.

Appetizer: Fried food medley - Wings, cheese sticks, pickles, onion rings, anything that could be deep-fried and plenty of ranch sauce to dip it in.
Drink: Plenty of cold beer

Main Course: A pile of seafood, Lobster, king crab, rock crab, giant shrimp, sashimi fish, oysters, and plenty of melted butter and coctail sauce.
Drink: Either Belvedere and cranberry juice or Crown Royal Reserve and Cola

Dessert: Angel food cake, strawberries and whipped topping

Final Cigar: A Cohiba Behike, that way if it sucked, I could have something else to be upset about. :hn

Easy, I've thought about this before. Doesn't really matter what order they come out in, as long as they all come out and I get a chance to eat.

My menu:
Boiled crawfish, crabs, and shrimp.
Fried oysters and hush puppies.
T-bone steak (medium rare or course).
Beef hot tamales in the corn husk.
Artichoke and oyster soup.
Pepperoni pizza.
Stuffed bell pepper.
Popeye's fried chicken with their oinion rings.
McDonalds double quarter pounder with fries.
Watermellon.
Blue bell home-made vanilla ice cream.

As far as the smoke goes, well it would have to be a Montecristo, any size would be good.

After eating all of that food, I would probably succomb to a bad case of heart burn/ indigestion, on my own terms................ not theirs.:ss

I hate dying on a full stomach so I'd just take a double magnum of walla walla cabernet sauvuignon, some good cheese and a crusty baguette.

I think i'd agree, some good stilton and roquefurt, maybe some blue, some nice aged cheddars and goudas and some smoked cheeses, and the baguette would have to be warm too. Some nice wine (i prefer white if i'm drinking that stuff my favorite being Woodbridge robert mondavi johanesberg reisling)

Mind you i guess it depends on the mood i was in that fateful day

Well, I joint this community for cigars, and I'm glad that there are threads about food.

If about cigars I've a lot to learn from you, about food I don't envy you at all. :)

You know, I've lived in US for about 2 Ys, I wish to go back in USA for a lot of thing but surely not for food.
Italy is, at least for that, the best place in the World :D

This is a great thread, I think of this once in a while and everytime I do my choices get simpler and simpler.

1st course-- A dozen oysters from Martha's Vineyard

2nd course-- A steamed lobster, hard shell, with melted butter

Beverage-- Bud cans that have sat over night in ice

Cigar-- The 15 year old RyJ Churchill Tubos that was gifted to me.

Some news reports of executions I've read indicate that many prisons have limits on what the "quest of honor" can have. $20.00 worth of food and no booze is one that I've heard. So if I had to limit my selection to 20 bucks, I'd have 20 dollars worth of good quality bacon.
