I'm going to refuse on the grounds of Rick Rolling, even if it's not, nothing viewed that much can be any good, it means there are almost a billion suckers that have clicked it...

No Rick Rolling, as per the stickies hahaha :tu

But yes, I totally agree. I find myself staying away from a lot of modern, overplayed, mainstream music (no I'm not a hipster), but going back to good ol' classic rock!

Music preference, like cigars, is a very subjective matter.
Help us out, Robulous78 - what are 10 songs/artists/bands
you couldn't live without in your mix?
That'll help narrow it down for suggestions.

There are quite a few artists in here that are excellent suggestions.

Here are a few individual songs I enjoy while enjoying a 90 minute IPA and an Excalibur Dark Knight.

Harlem Nocturne - Martin Denny (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE3KU64mwBY)

Moon Dreams - Miles Davis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Qq2NLrbL7o)

Westchester Lady - Bob James (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V56yeZtqQTs)

Soulful Strut - Grover Washington, Jr. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHjb-oN-IA8)

Anything by Frank Sinatra

When I'm working out, I'll be listening to

AC/DC
Dire Straits
Dropkick Murphys
Gaslight Anthem
Guns 'N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
KC & The Sunshine Band
Metallica
Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes
Bruce Springsteen
Steely Dan
George Thorogood
Van Halen
ZZ Top

Red Hot Chili Peppers. More of their older work instead of that goofy CD they released last Summer.

As Eric said it best, music is subjective.

I will toss my hat into the ring.

Ramones - Ramones
The Velvet Underground - Loaded
Tom Waits - The Heart Of Saturday Night
The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main Street
Wilson Picket - The Definitive Wilson Picket
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
Etta James - At Last
Elvis Presley - The Sun Sessions
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
The Band - The Last Waltz
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life
The Clash - London Calling
The Who - Tommy
Dusty Springfield - Dusty In Memphis
Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
Otis Redding - Otis Blue
James Brown and the Famous Flames - Cold Sweat
Frank Sinatra - In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Pixies - Surfer Rosa

That would be a good start in my honest opinion.
