Pipes in art

Because it's the pipe thread, this is a pastel my uncle did of my grandfather 45+ years ago, first thing I always notice is the pipes, never knew my grandfather but I guess he liked his, pipes, slippers, newspaper and old radio .. probably in that order too haha.
