Any of you guys out there collect ammo? I am looking for some info not really sure at what I am looking at and where to begin looking for useful info. I'm not really a gun guy so please forgive me if I mix up a few of the terms.

I have 4 steel cases/ 4 steel rounds stamped F A 40 and one stamped F A Test with a steel case and copper round. All of them are empty and missing the primer.

I understand these to be Frankfort Arsenal, and these are .30 cal? I also believe the copper round is 150 grain?

Haha, EVERYBODY out there is collecting ammo, seemingly whether they need it or not.
Which is why folks like me can't get any. I have always had what I considered a good
enough amount of 7.62x39 ammo, maybe ten boxes of 20 rounds. I don't go to the range
and make big piles of brass. Waste of money and ammo. But dang, try to get some now.

I am like you I guess, I am not an expert, I hope you find an answer to your question.

I may be picking up a handgun soon, so these links are gonna help me save some money for training. :)

I counted up last night, 200 rds on hand, which is more than I thought I had, but less than I'd like to have.
My rifle is not even sight-adjusted yet. Had it for 15 years and hadn't put but one round through it.

I have some old ammo that is not really OLD, but unique to me anyway. 20mm rounds from my old buddy
the F4-E Phantom II. Some old brass for that, too.

That's some Nam / Cold War business right there.
Nice you have some rounds to remember your old buddy !

I am getting concerned.
Down to 4,400 rounds at this time.
May not be enough to conquer my neighborhood in the event of anarchy.

I planned to do the same this quarter. Now it's bumped to "Sometime this year". Been chasing misc parts from my wish list before they are unavailable.
Bummer is, the pistol isn't going to be any cheaper later down the road.

Dennis thank you soo much!!! Ammo is exactly what I need and at the best price I have ever seen it, rounds are usually expensive as hell cuz it's the only gun that takes that round!! Very much appreciated!!

I stocked up a bit several years back. A lot of panic for no reason so far...

Mostly 9mm, .45, 7.62x39, 7,62x54r, .22, 30-06, and 308.
