HELP!!! I Think I am Becoming a Gurkha Whore [Archive]

I recently picked up a Gurkha Mega Sampler from the CI Make Me An Offer site. Sampler include 4 Legends, 4 Doble Maduros, 4 Class Regents, 4 Signature 101 Maduros, and 4 Master Selects. I also picked up a 5-pack of Class Regent Nepalese Warriors. I have sampled all of them over the last month or so and I have to say I have enjoyed them all thoroughly. I agree with the fact that Gurkha's are not worth the price that CI is selling them for but it you can get them off of the Devil Site or get them at a good offer price these are tasty sticks. Anyway, I now have several more cigars that will have to be maintained in my humidor for later enjoyment.

I know that there are some more Gurkha Whores out there, feel free to express your Gurkha love here. :D

I would say $15-20 is more accurate.

Gurkhas are pretty almost close to decent if you can get them for less than $5. I know some people love the darn things and swear by them. I still do enjoy a Beast and Nepalese Warrior, but then again I got them for less than $4. :tu

They are decent smokes for a few bucks. I just wish they had more cigar lines.

I smoked through a 5 pack of the Connecticut Reserve, they were okay

Smoked a couple of Centurian perfectos and liked them, but not enough to buy any more

Master's Select = :pu
Doble Maduro = :pu
Nepalese Warrior = :pu
Legend = :pu

I almost gave up after that, but then I discovered the Limited Edition Select Anniversario Master's Reserve Gold Legend Symphony Royal Platinum Vintage Brigade Grand Signature Quadruple Ligero Nepalese Titan Beast Warrior. Now THAT'S a good Gurkha! :ss

I've enjoyed them earlier in my smoking life, haven't had one for awhile. I have a couple in my humi, I'll re-aquaint myself with them and see what I think now.

I like the Doble Maduro, Signature 101 Maduro, Nepalese Warrior, Ancient Warrior. I haven't had too many of the other 8.000 they sell. I used to smoke a lot of them but I have veered off from that path.

They are definitely not my favorites, but I don't think they are bad cigars. But their MSRP are outrageous.

It's not a question of "handling" them. I was in that PPP and the cigar was just downright horrid and nasty.

I keep a few Titans on hand to give to people (read, the uneducated), always a "safe" stick. strong, but not kick your ass. and they like it cause its "expensive", so they automatically enjoy it more :r

I keep a couple Gurkhas on hand as well, in case anyone I hate comes over to smoke.
