I tried with mine.. Lots of different ways.. So confusing for me.. and I have hacked many of droids and feel I am computer smart.
I would use the Zelda way, that seems easy.. I haven't done that one to mine yet.. Don't normally watch DVD's where I have the Wii.

You could use it for Netflixx if you can get a wi-fi signal

It has been a while since I read through everything.. But from what I remember, That would be the easier way to go.
There was a lot of reading involved.

It could not work anymore.. It has been a year since I researched it.. Once I got the Xbox, my Wii just sits..(ha).

too much thinky thinky.
And danger of ruining the Wii.
Walmart has wi-fi enabled blu-ray players for 40 bucks.

I know which one I'd pick. Just sayin'.

Very true but the system just sits as it is, so I would rather mess with it and maybe be able to get more out of it than spend money. If it breaks then I will spend some cash :D
Plus it gives me some time to 'bond' with my nephew :tu
But thanks for the link!

You don't have to hack the Wii to watch Netflix.

I only hack the Wii until I need glasses.
Yeah, still I'd like to be able to do more than just watch netflix

What exactly do you mean by 'more'?
I've hacked quite a few Wii's but it wasnt for watching dvd's... I have all my games on an external drive plugged into a usb port on there, so whatever I want to play, I never have to insert the disc. This has helped alot because the laser transport sounds like its going to break any second lol...
