So I had a guest that is into cigars give me a Punch Rare Corojo Toro... Very nice of him...

He pronounced Corojo this way, Where he gets an A from I'll never know,
- CO- ROW- BA

I pronounce Corojo this way... Which I think is the correct way...
- CO- ROW- HO

Who is correct? or are both correct? Just don't want to be saying it incorrectly in the future if I ever so happen to speak about them... or is it a case of tomatoe- To-mah-toe ?

Thanks for helping learn my noob brain... :)

I believe you are correct. I have heard that the Criollo is pronounced Cree yo yo. I will never pronounce it that way. Sounds to hip hop for me LOL

:tpd:

Solid cigar, though a bit one-dimensional. In fact, this was my very first box purchase many years ago. But names mean very little in today's cigar market. It may be called Rare Corojo, but it is neither rare and in fact does not contain any corojo tobacco. :sh

So what would I need to smoke if I wanted an authentic Corojo blend?

Camacho Corojo. There are others, but that one pops to mind first.
