I've always wanted to work with Butternut, which is a species of walnut.... only a bit on the blonde side....
So, when trying to come up with a contrasting wood.... I figured walnut was a shoe in...
And, since I was on the "always wanted to" band wagon.... I always wanted to do this pattern on the lid....
I used Black Palm on the lid and bottom inlay to go with the Butternut & Walnut...
She's not quite done yet... just oiled her up today, still need to lacquer her and trim out the interior....
