A few days ago I watched some youtube footage from 9/11. Seems like it has faded to memory, but then the anger built up again as I watched people jumping from the 90th floors to their deaths, let alone all our heroes that perished. Thanks for the reminder Tom.

I didn't know anyone in the towers or in NYC for that matter, but I WILL NEVER FORGET where I was or how I felt that day or since and how America has changed since that terrible tragedy.
Thank you for posting this Tom :usa INDEED!

Many emotions on this day every year. I can't imagine what the victims or their loved ones have gone through. All I know is we all feel an extremely minor pain in comparison. My thoughts are with those who lost and those who died. The lost will live forever in our hearts.

I remember standing on a pier in the long island sound, looking through binoculars and seeing the second plane hit. It is an image that I will never forget.

That night my father went into renal failure and I spent way too much time watching the news in the hospital for the next few weeks awaiting the end.

I was home sick from school that day. I got a call from my dad (who was working for a "prime target" electrical utility at the time) saying he was coming home and would be working from home for the next few weeks. It all seemed so fake - I had a lot of trouble believing what was happening (and even more trouble understanding the meaning/repercussions at 13).
Never, ever forget.

Many FDNY, NYPD and other first responders, debris removal crews, cleanup workers ect., post collapse were exposed to Asbestos and a host of other toxins during rescue and cleanup. Many died because of exposure, many suffer today, and they won't be forgotten:usa

I'll never forget. Cowardly acts by cowardly men. It still infuriates me to this day. So many heroes gave their lives in hopes of saving others. The whole thing stirred up so many emotions. Sadness, anger, and pride in hearing the stories of the brave. Those who fought back on flight 93 and those who ran into burning buildings trying to help others.
I for one will never forget and I couldn't be more poud to be an American.

Didn't really get over here yesterday to do much. But, this is spot on.
Here was my facebook comment yesterday.
Keeping our nation, our leaders, all the citizens in my prayers - that God would watch over us. Praying also for those who lost so much on this day 11 years ago, may they be comforted.
Peace of the Lord be with you.

I'm a day late posting here but I will never forget ..... 9/11/01
Standing in the hallway next to my classroom I could see straight across to where the towers stood, one up in smoke and minutes later the other one was hit... It was a very quiet hour, we all could not believe what had happened. We were let out of school early that day. I had never been inside those buildings closest I ever got was to the front door..
To all those who lost their lives and to their families, we will never forget ....
