Anyone else here addicted to the Food Network? I can't take my eyes off Chopped and Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Has given me some awesome ideas for the kitchen.

On another note...Amanda Freitag, Aarti Sequeira, Maneet Chauhan, and Rachel Ray become sexier the more I watch. :D

I watch when I can. I have actually sought out some of the places and they are pretty good!!! And I too try some of the stuff at home.

Big fan of most of their shows. Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and Chopped are probably my two favorite shows as well. I also like most of Bobby Flay's grilling shows and his Throwdown show. :tu

Maybe it's the foodie in me, or reading Bourdains books/blog, but how can people take Food Network seriously? I know many people watch it, but I think it's for the sexy hosts and not the food. That's fine, but how can you call Paula Deen a chef:r:r:r

I had and still do have a huge crush on her. I love watching the food network except it just makes me so hungry :r

I used to be a big watcher of most things on the Food Network. But ever since they've changed their format to more "reality" based shows/competitions, I've lost interest. I will occassionaly watch DDD to see some of the places he goes to since I travel a lot for work. I've gone to a few of the spots featured on the show and have really liked them.

For me, The Cooking Channel, is more like what FN used to be. (although TCC is almost FN-Canada).

I had and still do have a huge crush on her. I love watching the food network except it just makes me so hungry :r

Ray-Ray used to be cute. Then they made her over and she started to become a charicature (sp?) of herself. Especially the "Joker" period. Look at some of her pics next to pics of Jack Nicholson as the Joker. Too uncanny of a resemblence.

Not sure I'd call her a chef...but the woman does cook some amazing "down home country food".

I could call her many things, but a chef is not one of them;)

If Paula couldn't cook with butter or fry her crappy food, what would she be??:r:r

I love the food network but the cable package you need to buy to get it makes it cost prohibitive right now. I sure do miss it though! I could watch kitchen stadium for days!!

I'm with Chainsaw on this one. I used to watch it all the time, however it has now been taken over by crappy reality shows that I cannot stand.
I love DDD, Iron Chef, Poineer Woman and Giada. The rest of the time I watch shows on the Cooking Channel.

Love The Food Network :)

This.

Also along with chopped and DDD I get really into restaurant impossible. I can't stand the guy on the show but my family has been in restaurants for over 50 years and I'm the fourth generation of my family to be a part of the business so that show makes me very thankful we haven't had it as bad as a lot of those families.

First off Claire Robinson... smoking...

Anyways I love the food network. Best thing I ever ate/made, good eats, chopped.

I think the person I like to watch cook the most is Ina Garten. I think everything she makes is awesome.

Also when I was in Boston we had the cooking channel, which unfortunately I don't get at home, because it was equally amazing.
