I have a buddy that is getting married and is looking to get some custom bands done for his wedding. He needs them in about a month. Any suggestions on where he should go? He is also willing to put the bands on himself.

Have him look at these.

He can use the label designing software to design them himself, then print, and attach.
I just ordered a bunch for a GB here and am very happy with the quality of the band itself.
I haven't used them in my printer yet.
This will likely bee the cheapest option as it is entirely DIY.

Looks like Mike's has a pretty good program...they even have wedding templates. Unlike some other places, I think that Mike's will sell you the bands only without first attaching them to some cheap cigars. As an alternative, you can play around with MS Publisher and come up with your own band designs. That is what I did for my wedding cigars back in 05'.

Thanks guys, I'll pass this onto him. My local has a 2box minimum order with custom bands and it's 3-5 weeks.

I used this company for mine. http://www.customlabels4u.com/cigars-anniversary.shtml If you only use them once it's expensive because they charge you a set up fee but they did look good.

I tried the print your own route, the issue was almost every band was off center when printed from the template for the punch out bands, I got about 3 or 4 good bands per sheet even after monkeying around with it for days.
