:tpd:

Three glaring omissions (off the top of my head):
You Really Got Me
Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
Walk This Way

Shouldn't have tried to divide it equally between the decades. :2

Still enjoyed it though.

That guy is impressive.

My ommissions would be there was only one Hendrix, and I think only one Van Halen Riff (minus 'Beat It')

Gotta have:

Hendrix - 'All along the Watch Tower'
VH - 'Ain't Talking Bout Love'

Maybe he should have called it "100 of my favorite guitar riffs". It would take hours and hours to include everyone's favorites.

He did say "100 OF the greatest guitar riffs", and not "THE 100 greatest guitar riffs".

Being that there are thousands of great riffs, I think his title fits. :2

Awesome playing for sure! For those that dump on his selections... Remember just because they're YOUR favorite riffs doesn't me they're SOMEONE ELSES favorite riffs. :D

I think given the title, it's all good. 100 OF THE greatest riffs, not the 100 greatest.
I think it should be titled the 100 best riffs I can play. Pretty impressive in range and scope, with
only a few that I thought were not very faithful to the originals. Hell he had Kamper van Beethoven
in there, how's that for ecclectic? Michael Jackson was certainly included for it's iconic riff, which is
such a part of modern popular music that it would be hard to leave it out. Kamper van Beethoven, lol.
COME ON!
