I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of rare valuable cigars some people are holding onto for a rainy day.

Mine would be a FFP and a Tat Black both given to me by Eric,

Watcha hiding in your humi?

For me I have 3 sticks that I am sitting on for a special occasion. They were all given to me by friends here.

Oliva O (Red cloth band, given to me by Nickyteen)
Ashton ESG (given to me by Mr.B)
God of Fire (given to me by Mr.B)

And with allergy season kicking my a$$ right now I won't be touching any of them soon.

Aside from the Franks, Tenderloins & the B-Rex's I have it probably has to be the few clear havanas I have been gifted!

Some of which are older than me! And that's pretty old if you ask some of the BOTL here! :lr

H Upmann Churchill from @ '92. I think it is a Monarcas vitola and it was a tubo.

We smuggled (did I just say that), I mean snuck a box out of Bahrain, UAE. One of my best buddies was my navigator on KC-135's and we stuck it in the "Secrets" bag. Back than we still carried all the codes for the Nuclear SIOP mission and nobody, I mean nobody could get in that bag but us. King of SIAM, POTUS, I don't care who you are (especially customs :D) - you weren't getting in the secrets bag.

When we got back to the states my buddy was heading to pilot training. We went all the way to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force to get him a slot for pilot training. It took a lot of work but in the end we got him into pilot training and a year later at his graduation at the Officer's club he broke open the box. He didn't care who grabbed them but I watched many wasted by a bunch of drunk student pilots, their wives, and/or girlfriends.

He probably doesn't remembet but I saved two. Storage has been questionable over the last 20 years so I don't think they will smoke great, but that is not the point. He's a Colonel now and whenever he retires I'll be at the retirement ceremony and we'll find some time to burn them.

A lot more to the story and the friendship, but I hit the high points for brevity.

They tend not to last long for me. If I get something special or particularly awesome I tend to smoke it within a few months. Never know what tomorrow's gonna bring so I find a day to smoke them.

As of right now for me since my humi is rather low(I like my mailbox, so don't get any funny ideas), it'd be between the Anejo 46 I'm saving for New Years, the Studio Tobac fresh rolled I got from our event today, and the ~4 I have left from the sticks I blended about 5 months ago. Reminds me I need to break one of those out to see how they've come along.

Cigars I have that are irreplaceable to me, there are several...
My last remaining machine-made Partagas Culebras is pretty special.
I have an original release Fundadore that Dave K gave me one day long time ago.
I have a Slenderella that Seth gave me.
I have a few Montecristo Double Coronas from the first numbered year of the EL program.
Until a few weeks ago I had the last cigar out of the first online box I ever ordered, a 2001 Partagas Lusitania...Chingas got that smoke, lol.

My collection is nothing but meaningful cigars I'd hate to let go. And one at at time, they all get away, haha.

The one I value most is the Por Larranaga '06 RE from Germany. Got one gifted to me from a really fun game (Thieven' Weasels) on another message board that was the best cigar I had ever smoked at the time. And then got another one here from a wet dream MAW. I do believe it's demise is near.

I have a few. Mine right now would probably be the couple Franks I still have left and the half dozen of each of the East/West Coasts and the #9 Pig. All of them I am constantly going to grab but put them back simply because I know once they're gone they are gone. One of these days I am going to just suck it up and smoke them all.-(P:D

Forgot I had a box (2-pack) of Liga Privada A's. Not sure if I'll ever smoke them since they're so big

When you do decide to smoke them just don't go into them expecting typical Liga flavors or you will be disappointed. These were very muted when compared to the rest of the line and actually much on the mild side.:2

I guess I'll update, got a Davidoff Double R Colorado Claro in a trade with a friend. I'm gonna try holding off smoking that as much as I can, but I'll probably end up smoking it after I've moved myself in to my new place on the porch to properly christen the porch. :D
