I haven't been on in a while and I apologize if I am posting this incorrectly, but I know this is the place to find out if I have walked into a great opportunity or not so much. A friend of a friend is selling off his stock and I'm thinking of taking some off his hands. Here are some of the boxes he is selling.

Bolivar Gold Medal 10 PBS JUL07 $200.00
Bolivar Gold Medal 10 PBS JUL07 $200.00
Bolivar Especials #2 25 LRE SEP09 Torcido Exclusivamente Para Alemania

I know enough to think these should be pretty good but I don't know if they are worth the premium that is being asked.

Any guidance is extremely appreciated.

He also has the following for sale. Please tell me if I'm going to miss out if I don't get some of these.

Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro 25 BTL JUN08 $400.00
Cuaba Edicion Limitada 2008 10 GAS SEP08 $175.00
Cuaba Edicion Limitada 2008 10 TEB SEP08 $175.00
Cuaba Edicion Limitada 2008 10 GEA SEP08 $175.00

Ramone Allones Celestiales Finos 25 OMA JUN09 $300.00
Ramone Allones Belicosas 25 LRE MAR10 Torcido Exclusivamente Para Alemania $425.00

You can't buy those if you live in Lubbock. Otherwise they are a bit high but good sticks.

The only ones I personally find worth it are the Cuabas, they are also easily marked up the least out of all of that. The BGM's aren't worth $20 a stick. From what I've heard the Celestiales finos aren't worth a mark up or even the original price, which was pretty low for RE's. I wouldn't pay $400 for Don Alejandros either.

I see no price for the Boli Esp 2's so I can't comment on that.

Thanks for the replies, are the boli esp 2's something I should go for if they are reasonably priced?

Can't say haven't smoked one.

You should probably just read reviews for these cigars and decide if the flavors are ones you like. Same with the size, marca and if the reviews are generally good or bad.

The Regionals he is selling are worth picking up. A lot of people had negative reviews of the Celestal Finos, but I would like to revisit them at some point. Great looking cigar, and Especiales #2 are already a legend.

As for prices, that is up to you if you think they are a deal. Certainly in line with what he paid if bought in Germany

2. Cuban Cigars

shipping methods for Cuban cigars, including countries of origin and/or pictures revealing the same, and/or
buying, selling, or trading Cuban cigars.
