Just as the title states, what do you guys prefer and why?
Which one gives off more of the choclatey sweet notes?

Both are great sticks but I personally prefer the Cazadores. I find it has a little more spice and body to it. If it's earlier in the day I will go the opposite and grab a Verocu but both are mainstays in my humidor. They're quick for when you want a smoke in a pinch and don't want to sacrifice flavor in order to do so and both are very affordable so having a good stash of each on hand doesn't break the bank.

I like both of them and if I had to choose one over the other, it would be the Petite Cazadores Reserva.

I'm waiting for RevSmoke to chime in on this.

Personally I think each is good in certain situations

You know its funny, I can't find my box of PCR's for the life of me!
So i've been smoking the Verocu No. 5's! The first half inch is traditional
Pepin Pepper and spice, but then it transitions into a very smooth and
flavorful (full) medium bodied, medium strength smoke. I've also noticed
that some of them are fuller in body, but its probably a natural variance
in the particular leaves that were used in making the cigars.

So until I can find my box of PCR's my vote is for the No. 5!

Want to know which cigar has both of them beat? The Namakubi!:r

Really Excel?? I thought the Namakubi, specifically the Papi Chulo, was a huge disappointment.

Its odd, because I generally really dislike pepin's stuff, yet I enjoy Tatuaje. Going to try both and decide which cab to buy. From what Ive read the PCR might be more for me.

I'm with you Mac. I tried a few and just couldn't get into them as much as I wished I could finally find a Room 101 that I could put into rotation as Matt is a great guy that I would love to give some business too. Hoping the San Andreas may live up to the initial reviews for me.

I think that the PCR starts out with a couple puffs of bitter, then that disappears and it is a little spice and flavor bomb. A great stick.

The #5 doesn't have the bitter start, and the spice is more muted. The flavors are also more subtle, and a sweetness seems to take the place of the spice.

I like both, for their different flavors. Depending on my mood, I'll pick one over the other. However, both are great smokes.

I just made a crazy, blind purchase.

I am looking for more smallish, 45-minute smokes to save for the winter. I already have a box of E.P. Carrillo New Wave Stellas, 5 Vegas Miami PCs, 20 Illusione Epernay Le Petites, 20 Ruination coronas and 20 MOW Little Devils...

So what did I add to that? A cabinet of Verocu No. 5's for $180.
I figure for $3.60 a stick or so, how bad can they be? I like most other Pepin and Tat stuff and I have heard some great things about these. I usually try a single or few before buying a box but I had some extra money to spend (I usually don't drop more than $100 at a time) and just had the urge.

Heck, I'll try a couple of them over the next few months and if I don't like 'em, I can probably sell them.

Please allow me a very brief hijack. What is the difference, if any, between the Petite Cazadores and other Brown Labels?

Thank you.

Thank you.

They have Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers. They're also wet packed.
