A couple of pictures from Triple B Clays, (sporting clays) El Monte CA.
I stopped by Triple B Clays yesterday to get my car washed, and take a lesson from Ray Brown.
Yep, I said "get my car washed".
They have a mobile car wash crew in the parking lot, and for $15 they'll wash your car while you're out shooting, having lunch or smoking a cigar. I swear when I picked up my car it looked better than the day I bought it.
I've known Ray for a while, so with the state shoot a month away at Raahauge's, my buddy Leonard (Master Class) and I (B Class) decided to take a two-hour lesson to get "tuned up".
Two guys, two hours, $90 each.
We started out with gun-fit. Turns out my comb was in the wrong place, and LOP on Leonard's gun was too short.
Ray adjusted my comb, and added a pad to Leonard's gun, and we headed out to the range.
I won't give you the details of the lesson (that will cost you $90) but we shot, made adjustments, shot more, and made more adjustments, shot a little more, made a few more adjustments. In the end we both made improvements.
