View Full Version : Who wins the NBA championship?

Although I am a die hard Knicks fan I am also a realistic person. So just in case my New York Knicks don't win the championship and I start to bleed orange and blue for the 34th time... I believe the San Antonio Spurs will win it! I think the Oklahoma Thunder are the best team in the league but that alone does not win championships. I think a team has to find more than that to win... Who do you like? More importantly what will I light up in 10 minutes when Melo goes off for 40!!!???:banger

I think your Brooklyn Nets have as much a chance as does the Knicks. :r

Me, I'll go with Chicago . . . defense wins more often than not.

Well with the refs calling the game like they are right now, the Knicks have no chance.

I don't follow NBA but since the Hawks are in the playoffs I will be watching my hometown team

If Derek Rose just tore his ACL, that might be that for the Bulls.

I am with you on that. Working in OKC all year, I have become a Thunder fan. Sorry Celtics. If it comes down to OKC - BOS championship, I will side with my hometown Celtics.

It's a strike-shortened season. Ergo it stands to reason the Spurs win, since they won the Championship last strike-shortened season.

Honestly, either San Antonio or OKC.

I was all set to post that...bummer for you guys, we are big DRose fans here in Memphis.
Well, except for the school officials that actually tried to SUE him for his tuition.....WHY would you
DO THAT to a kid who is already worth tens of millions of dollars and will likely earn 100 million+ by
the time he is done?

Go Spurs Go. If they beat OKC, they will take it. I am glad they are getting their rest this week though.

OKC all the way, though I wish the Celtics would take it one last time with the state of the current team.
If Bass could pull in similar numbers from now on, it would be amazing

So long as its anybody but Miami I'll be happy.

I really think San Antonio is playing on another level right now.

I kind of hope it's SA-Celtics, for the sole fact that Duncan hates KG with a passion. The more KG trash talks Tim, the more Duncan (quietly) owns him.

Yeah, big stretch there to pick the team with the best record in the NBA. Just saw the thread today, Chief.

I believe okc can pull it out in 6 against the spurs. Then it will be okc in 5 vs the heat if they dont have Bosh. If Bosh is healthy then okc in 7.

I was never sold on the heat from the start. They invested 90% of thier cap on 3 players, one of which is not a max deal player(bosh). You know your team is in trouble when you can only afford juwan howard to ride the pine. You could have gotten cwebb to give you some production

At this point, i would love to see Boston and San Antonio. My team (Lakers)
are obviously out, so at this point, i just want to see great basketball. San Antonio
put on a clinic monday night, can't wait to see what they do tonight.
