Well I finally decided I needed to do more exercise. I'm up to about 240 and I've had enough. Starting to cut back on the amount of soda I drink, and replace it with water. But mainly it's the stairs. Yesterday I started doing the stairs at work. The jail is 12 floors. But each floor is really a floor and a half. So i started doing the stairs 2 times back to back each day I work. So its basically doing 36 flights of stairs, in uniform with duty belt full of gear. I feel like **** afterwards and during it. But all in all I know I'm doing something. Here's to cutting back some lbs. :tu

I cut off soda completely and just drink water. I also cut down the amount of food i eat and go for a jog about 3 times a week. So far ive cut with little effort 14lbs in 2 1/2 weeks.

I'm limiting myself right now to 1 soda at work and 1 at home. Before I was drinking at least 2-20oz bottles of coke at work and who knows how much coke at home, alot. So I'm cutting AT LEAST 500 calories right there. I'm starting to eat less, I was snacking at work too. Hopefully by this time next month I'll notice a difference. :tu

I'd watch what you eat more than how much you eat.

Good luck! Nothing beats the feeling of slimming down. For me, what made me decide to change my life was that literally one day, I told myself "i'm tired of being fat...". So I conjured up a diet plan that involved the betterment of my eating habits (IE no chicken skin whatsoever, practically no meat, and no fast food), not eating after 6 P.M. and cardio everyday. After about 6-8 months, I dropped about 45 lbs. It's the last 10 lbs or so that's a pain the ass =P.

Yeh can't do that man. I am cutting back on the food and sodas, and doing the stairs daily. The stairs is a leg workout and cardio :tu

That's awesome! Exactly the kind of motivation I'm seeking. I have a ton of stairs here. I need to make friends with them.
