No Way........I just need to learn to slow down a bit.
After a while, I will learn the ones to watch out for.

I've smoked 3 Ruinations now and still get sick to my stomach afterwards. They are really tasty, though :dr:dr
Maybe we should move this to the whinny girl section!!! J/K guys, there are allot of cigars out there that will kick your butt.

I smoked a RP Edge the other day and made me sick to my stomach. Wasn't the nic kick that kicked my butt - it was just a plain bad cigar (IMHO). Once my co-worker gets his Coolidor setup, he's getting a free box of RPs.
Actually, there are quite a number of "What cigar made you sick" "Strongest cigar you've ever smoked" "Cigar that made you dizzy" etc... type threads here.

Ok, then close this thread. Didn't see one that people were participating in.
My bad.

I wasn't advocating that you close this thread, that's entirely up to you, I was just pointing out that there are older threads like this. Some are harder to find than others due to the way they are named and some certainly have been quiet for awhile, but sometimes reviving an old thread isn't necessarily a bad thing. There are some funny stories in some of the older ones.
Here's what I believe to be the original "most powerful cigar that kicked your ass and how" thread here:

No joke... I've had 3 or 4 now and all of them I had to quit. Very tasty, but too powerful.

Dirty rat did you in??? Eat a big meal then before you undertake the FFP...
Love all things Liga Privada but the FFP did get me a little bit. The last 1/3 put me under on Super Bowl Sunday, the last time I had one. I go for round two soon and intend on winning!

Opus X kicks me everytime also. I remember back in the day when LaGloria Cubana used to kick me in the butt every time, but always went back about a month later and lit up another one. I have been smoking a little milder cigar lately due to being on this 800 calorie/ day diet so i am not eating any big meals anymore. I guess it's worth it for 51 pounds of weight loss already since January.:banger

Most LFD get me foggy.
Way to miss the point that it's ok to actually search for previous threads on the same subject before starting yet another one and that thread just happened to be the first, not necessarily the most recent.

No need to fight guys. It's my fault.
I have been here for around a month or so and didn't see an active thread like that one since I have been here. I didn't search for an old thread.
This forum is a little different than the other ones I have belonged to but thats ok. They actually wanted you to start new threads if the previous ones were inactive for more than 6 months or so.
The reason is that people see a different member starting the thread with a different title and it gathers new interest and activity. If people see the old thread that they might have posted in, they may have already lost interest because they know what the thread is about and may have already contributed in it so they don't feel a need to even open it.
Another reason is that when someone googles something, for example :Cuban vs non-cuban. If there is a thread with that in the subject line, it will come up in google. That increases traffic on the website. It gets new people in here and helps create new members. That is how I found my way here...........I googled something about humidors and found this site because someone had a thread on the subject. If all we ever use is old threads and never create new ones, that can reduce the information people pull up on google that are linked to CA.
If you guys would rather me search for 2+ yr old threads to post in rather than create a new one, I'm ok with that too. Have a good day guys.:tu

Agree %100 on the edge, not to mention the stains you get on your fingers from that turd. I've given up on RP for good!
Illusione 4/2g's always kill me......and the MOW Puro Authenticos pound for pound pack the biggest pepper/spice kick I have ever smoked! Viaje Skull and Bones destroyed me as well.

I didn't see it coming, but a Perdomo 826 Slow-Aged Muduro Churchill I had on my lunch break earlier in the week did me in for the rest of the work day. I hadn't eaten in about 18 hours and drew down about 3/4 of the Churchill in about 45 min, so I'm pretty sure almost anything would have done me in, but I had a pretty splitting headache for the rest of the work day and an uneasy stomach the rest of the night. I'm going into that stick on a full stomach and taking my time next time around!
