I got this at work today:

The thought i had as we open our followups on it gives on info needed for us to do on customers accts such as calling them if and when needed though when we mention a time of either the time of day their time or in the time or noon time but all the different time periods hoping ot add at least their state on the followup screen when you open the request so we know what time they are in before having to open the acct too many times.

They would like some sort of indication of time zone or time of day that would be appropriate to follow up with the customer. Even just the name of the state listed on the follow up request would be helpful....however if this person worked for me I would not allow them to talk to customers

Is English still a required course in high school? I would reply to that person that this needs to be re-worded into a format that is, at the very least, a cohesive thought. This is all over the place and words don't even fit together in patterns that are recognizable. Absolutely ridiculous.

I would say fix it and send it back, but it's too far gone.

This is just sad. As a former English major, I weep.

PS - That was translated from Chinese or Japanese or something...looks like they wrote what they wanted to and then cut and pasted it into some kind of babelfish and got that translation...

Hi Marc, I wish that were true, but no it's just an email I got.

I'll be back in FL in Oct, and you know where I'll be going to first.

1st- I hope that you were the only one that was sent this email.
2nd- Maybe this should be used on a billboard to show America that before our kids are force to learn another language maybe our kids should know English.

I, too, looked at it and tried to rearrange it into a cohesive thought using the words and phrases presented. Albert seems to have captured it but it made my head spin too much.
But thanks for the laugh.

The sad thing is that someone is paying this unit.
My guess is that he/she slammed the email together, never bothered to read what he wrote, and hit send.
I'd absolutely reply all and ask for it to be translated. That way everyone who received this retardation will get some nuts and respond in kind. It might help the sender to hone his/her skillz.

Hummm, I can pretty much decipher what is being asked for, but then I'm a software engineer, so I see this every day :)

I would be far more interested in knowing the applied situation of this request, because it makes a reference to opening accounts (accessing the account information on the back end) but not wanting to do so at inconvenient times, presumably to reduce the amount of wasted time or irritation to the account holder.

You should reply back to the original sender asking for at least some improperly placed/used punctuation, as this is clearly not obfuscated enough.

Anyone else notice the 3rd hand coming out of this guy's chest?

Mutagenic therapy instead of steroids. I bet he's from around Chernobyl.
