I'm trying to select a box of cigars for my boss. I don't know too much about his taste, but these are a couple of my personal favorites, which I'm thinking about going with...

Just wanted suggestions. This is a thank you gift.

Regards,

Burns

Yes x3, 8-5-8 naturals if you don't know what he likes. They have just the right balance, not to light and not overpowering:tu

If you can find it the Hemmingway maduros are delicious. Most everyone I've talked to enjoy these a great deal.

+1 for arturo fuente. Rocky Patels are alright but I have had mixed luck with them. Arturo fuentes are consistent as hell and generally awesome. I love the WOAMs. Haven't ever had a bad AF though.

The gift of the cigars will mean more than the specific cigar you choose. :tu :tu

That sampler looks like a potential home run, especially for under $70.

Ah, unfortunately the holiday sampler is not currently available. Which size should I go with on the Hemingways?

Don't go overboard.
You're an expendable pawn,
keeping him from a bigger bonus.

Get him a box of Dutch Masters.

Ah, unfortunately the holiday sampler is not currently available. Which size should I go with on the Hemingways? The Short Story and the Best Seller are on the smaller side and are very nice smokes. The Work of Art (particularly the Work of Art Maduro) is also very good.

If you are looking for something a little exotic try the Between The Lines -- a little more expensive but a nice smoke.

You can't go wrong with any of the Hemingways.

Is your boss a cigar smoker? :r

Do they have a humidor? If not, I might go with something that comes in tubos.

I might go with Padrons, either a sampler or maybe a box of Londres or 2000/3000s depending on how much you want to spend.

He's my sales manager, not a bad guy. I'm an independent rep so it's more of a "thank you" for support on a recent project.

I'd spend $60 on the WOA sampler at tampasweetheart:

I would suggest against the Hemingways in the Best Seller / Short Story sizes. Some people do not like perfectos, but even more than that, the surprising popularity of Nub notwithstanding, some people do not like small/short cigars. and the bigger of the two, the Best Seller is a 4 1/2 inch cigar. (Me, I like 'em.)

That said, I agree with those who think AF is a good idea.

Nothing says 'kissing a$$' like a good selection of Padron 1964's.

Buy him a box of 601 reds no one will be unhappy with those.

And infuse them with hair of various parts of a dogs body.
