I know that Bourbon is "American", but I've been wondering about craft distilleries popping up in the U.S., specifically rum and gin. I've had Bluecoat gin out of Philly, PA and Thomas Tew rum out of Newport, RI.

Curious to see if anyone else has any favorites worth seeking out?

Anchor Steam (craft beer brewery) has a really nice gin called Junipero. Not as good as Hendricks (IMO), but very good.

My favorite Gin ever.

Found a place in Indy that sells it. Fell in love with it at Shack last summer.
