All scotch whiskey's by John Walker & Sons are blended whiskeys if I remember right.

Perhaps, but that doesn't preclude them from producing one.

All JW scotch except the now discontinued Green label are blended scotches. Blending does in no take away from the quality or complexity of the drink. John Walker and Sons is owned by Diago who in turn currently owns and produces 15 different single malts around Scotland. the JW blends come from a mix of these distilleries.
