I prefer Star Wars, everything else falls flat for me.
I always hated Star Trek.
I'll be honest I have no idea what W40k is and Battlestar Galactica always reminded me of a soap opera.

I understood little of the first post and nothing in the link. That gap in my geekness does not, however, prevent me from greatly enjoying the Star Wars discussions in Clerks and Clerks 2, however -- (and I especially liked the Lord of the Rings vs. Star Wars scene.)

The Death Star would work that thing like Alderan. That is, of course, provided they didn't have a spy that could get the plans and show them the 2 meter hole that firing into will destroy the entire thing...

I just watched the whole Star Wars series. And LOTR. And the Star Wars Family Guy movies. All courtesy of my buddy Stephen. :)
I've watched all the orignal Star Trek series, Next Generation and Voyager. Now I'm watching Deep Space Nine. It kinda sucks.
I've watched all the Star Trek movies, the most recent one was excellent, I've seen it twice.
I have no clue what a W40K is. I think it's a lubricant, but I can't be sure.

I was one of those who hated that film. I thought it was Harrison Ford's second worst film.

Star Wars happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. I'm sure their technology is far superior to W40K by now. :tu

The Doctor would kick a Sith Lord's ass with a sonic screwdriver and a flippant attitude. And I'm probably a bigger Star Wars geek than I am a Doctor geek.

Ok, I also had no idea what w40k was, so t.hanks to my friend google, I gained a bit more useless knowledge.

I did like this warhammer 4000 (w40k) quote.
"If your battle plans are working, it is probably a trap"

not to be a total dork or anything but the scale on that w 40 K is absolutely asinine. if you look at it even remotely close to realize that if it was built it would probably be about the size of a decent battleship/ possibly an aircraft carrier. I could draw a picture of a ship and say oh it's the size of a small planet, but the amount of detail and design makes that ship impossible to build that large of a scale. heck they're saying that the decorative skull on the front is roughly half size of the star destroyer. The antennae at the bottom alone make that ship impossible in scale. Death star wins.
