Hoping the BABOTL can lend a hand here with a somewhat specific hotel request in San Fran.
We're going to be in SF 1 night on our way to Hawaii.
We're travelling (and sharing a room) with a budget conscious couple, so we'd prefer a place that has two queen beds to a room as opposed to two doubles.
We want to be situated between the airport and Fisherman's Wharf - preferably closer to the airport.
Not looking to go upscale given the budget concerns of our travelling companions, but neither do we want a dump. And by dump, I mean Motel6/ Red Roof/ Super8.
Grace is looking at the Radisson in Brisbane.
Anything else we should consider?
Any issues with the Radisson?
Thanks!

Wish I could help with hotels Vin but I havent stayed at any near the airport. But you are better off(rate wise) somewhere outside the City like Brisbane(near airport), there are very few discount hotels in SF or near Fisherman's Wharf. You can then rent a car or take a taxi into the City for dinner or whatever. :tu Will you have time for a smoke? :sh

You might check the hyatt near SFO or the crown plaza. I would probably stay near the airport, SF is going to be more pricey. I think there is also a Hilton garden inn or something like that.

Thought you were going to say Frisco, CO but being SF I cannot give any advice. Have a great trip though. Sounds like a great time!

I leanred along time ago -- probably best not to refer to San Francisco as "Frisco" Vin...
Just sayin'...

Be sure to check the parking rate at whatever hotel you choose. I stayed downtown last year and it was 54 bucks a night to park.:gary

If you stay at one of the hotels at the airport you can always catch BART into the City for dinner or lunch. :banger

I wish, but we're only going to be in town for less than 24 hours, and if I want to have any sex on vacation (with Grace, at least) then I have to pass. ;)

The only Hawaiian word you need to know is "mahu" The hotel concierge will hook you up! :banger:noon
