Always looking for a good smoke for under $10.
I like Nicaraguan Cigars.
So heeeeere we go.

The cigar:
From their website...

"Curivari cigars are made with 100% Cuban seed Nicaraguan tobacco.
We blend for a classic Cuban flavor profile that we enjoy, not with focus on strength, but more looking for flavor and aroma in a right balance. All cigars are finished with a triple cap. "

I paid around $8.
Looks good and inviting...." Smoke me please!!!"
Be back in an hour or 2................

From their website:

"Perfectly balanced, with medium body, this cigar has
a creamy smooth flavor profile, woody with a touch
of vanilla, and a sweet finish.
Filler: Nicaragua Binder: Nicaragua Wrapper: Nicaragua
Authentic Cuban Seed Criollo and Corojo"

This description is spot on. Here is my review.....

After cutting the cap with my Carbon fiber Palio...

Pre - light draw: Spicy!!! Felt it in my nose.

Toasted the foot with my Prince Pocket Torch.First couple of draws had a spicy build.

1/3rd:
Spicy, creamy/leather somewhat "sweet". Draw was a little tight, but didn't have to work at it. Ash held together nicely, and burn was consistant and even. Spiceness was constant and draw loosened up.

2/3rd:
Draw opened up nicely, good smoke. Spice leveled off, and woody profile became prevalent. But at times the creamy/leather showed up and said, "Hey!! I'm still here!!" burn is still even and I have not had to touch it up, or re-light .

Final 3rd:
Wood profile is still there, spice is still kickin'. more on the front of my pallet and a smooth/mild leather taste. And it did have a nice smooth finish(sweet?).I nubbed it, and spicy on the lips.

Smoking time : 2 hours and 10 minutes

Final thoughts:
This is an outstanding cigar. I mean what more can you ask for. Great construction, no burn issues, complex tasting profile, and under $10.
I never got any vanilla out of it. But it never came to my mind.
Sweetness? I didn't get that, more of a creamy profile on the front and nub. Maybe that is what they meant by sweet.
If you like spice, this is a good one. I will buy it again, maybe a box. They come in a box of ten. I think all of the offerings do.
I bought a stick of 3 of the 7 other lines they offer and will review them also.
I drank ice water, while smoking this one. I think a good cup of coffee with a splash of cream or a nice Cognac would compliment this smoke.

Bottom line...this is a good spicy cigar. Smoke what you like, like what you smoke.

P.S. My Palio, Torch and Stinky ashtray were all bought in group buys with members of this fine Website. Just a thought for you new guys, take part in one.
